Good habits, not strict rules

Plant care that fits everyday life.

The most useful care is observant, modest and repeatable.

A thriving houseplant is less about a perfect schedule than a reliable pause. Look at the soil before watering. Turn the pot when a plant leans toward the window. Wipe a broad leaf when it gathers dust. These small checks tell you more than a calendar ever will.

Hands tending a potted indoor plant
Repotting begins with the right container and a calm, gentle hand.
01

Learn your light

Morning light is soft. A bright room can still have dim corners. Move a plant gradually when you are testing a new position and watch the leaves over two weeks.

02

Water with a check

Press a finger into the top few centimetres of soil. When it is dry, water thoroughly and let excess drain away. A plant left standing in water is usually asking for less, not more.

03

Refresh when needed

Roots eventually need space and potting mix loses its structure. Bring the plant in, or send us a photograph, and we can suggest a gentle next step.

Air-conditioning can dry a room quickly, while monsoon weeks can slow a plant down. Adjust watering to the season rather than feeling obliged to follow one routine all year. If a leaf yellows, take a breath: a single old leaf is often simply making way for new growth.
